৪.৬/5 (২৫১ reviews)

Mrs. Claus's recipe, to make as a family in the Village kitchen.

  • Total time: 45 min
  • Serves 4
  • Easy

Ingredients

Number of people: Serves 4

  • ২ pork tenderloins
  • ৬ figs
  • ১ onion
  • ২০ cl stock
  • ১ tbsp honey
  • Thyme
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation stepsTotal time: 45 min

  1. Sear2 min

Brown the tenderloins for 2 minutes on each side. Set aside. Heat the fat over medium heat without letting it smoke. Stir so everything colors evenly: golden, never black, or it turns bitter. Amount for this step: 2 pork tenderloins.

  2. Figs14 min

Sauté the onion, then add the halved figs and the honey. Count the time from when you start, and only move on once you get the result described. Amounts for this step: 6 figs; 1 onion.

  3. Simmer15 min

Return the meat, add the stock and cook for 15 minutes, covered. The liquid should simmer, not boil. Stay close for the first few minutes to set the heat, then check that nothing sticks to the bottom. Amount for this step: 20 cl stock.

  4. Serve14 min

Slice and spoon over the sauce. Plate at the last minute. Taste for salt, pepper and acidity, then serve right away: a hot dish is served hot, a cold dish is served cold.
