  • Very easy

Ingredients

Number of people: Serves 8

  • 150 g flour
  • 80 g brown sugar

  • 2 eggs
  • ½ packets of baking powder
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 4 tbsp milk

Preparation stepsTotal time: 30 min

  1. Mix5 min

In a mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar, eggs, milk, flour, baking powder and spices. Stir from the center outward until smooth, with no dry pockets at the bottom. Count the time from when you start, and only move on once you get the result described. Amounts for this step: ½ packet of baking powder; 1 tsp gingerbread spice.

  2. Paper cases5 min

Three-quarters full. Count the time from when you start, and only move on once you get the result described.

  3. Bake15 min

15 minutes at 180°C. Preheat the oven to the temperature given, with the rack in the middle. Only open the door if the recipe says so: the dish is ready when it is golden and the time is up.

  4. Cool5 min

Powdered sugar or a little white icing. Press plastic wrap onto the surface to stop a skin forming, and chill it away from the back wall of the fridge. This rest is part of the total time.
