4,7/5 (1287 reviews)

Mrs. Claus's recipe, to make as a family in the Village kitchen.

  • Total time: 27 min
  • Pour 4 personnes
  • Very easy

Ingredients

Number of people: units.servingsLong

  • 4 small goat cheeses
  • 4 brick pastry sheets
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 egg
  • Rosemary
  • Pepper

Preparation stepsTotal time: 27 min

  1. Prepare5 min

Place a goat cheese in the center of each sheet and add a little honey and rosemary. Take out ahead of time anything that needs to lose its chill, get the dish and utensils ready, and only add salt when the recipe says so. Amount for this step: Rosemary.

  2. Fold5 min

Fold into a parcel and brush with egg. Count the time from when you start, and only move on once you get the result described.

  3. Bake12 min

12 minutes at 190°C until the pastry is nicely golden. Preheat the oven to the temperature given, with the rack in the middle. Only open the door if the recipe says so: the dish is ready when it is golden and the time is up. Amount for this step: 4 brick pastry sheets.

  4. Serve5 min

Set on a small salad and add pepper. Plate at the last minute. Taste for salt, pepper and acidity, then serve right away: a hot dish is served hot, a cold dish is served cold.
